What mom has not heard those words more times than she would like? It’s a fair question. But when often repeated, we tire of hearing that little voice say the words we know are coming. Though we love our children, there are times we wish they would stop asking.

Like our children we often repeat our requests to God. He never tires of our coming, our asking, even when we ask the same questions or make the same requests. God is faithful and loves us with an eternal love. He is patient and kind in His dealings with us, his children.

God hears and answers in His own time and in His own way. Answers do not always take the form we want them to. But God always answers for our good and His glory. God seeks to grant us calm waters in life. He is always working. Always leading and guiding us to where He wants us to be.

We may not be there yet. Don’t rush God. Enjoy the beautiful journey He has created for us. Even when it’s hard, look for Him on the way. He has a perfect plan and if we follow closely enough, we can see where he is going.

  1. This is awesome Leah! I appreciate the reminder to be patient and to wait on God’s plans.

  2. Leah, Dear friend, Sister, I love your new blog! I do believe the Lord chose now, and is going to use you mightily, “And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14
“Royal” meaning “Realm”, comes from the root word, – mālaḵ – meaning “to counsel, advise”.
God is the One, “Who knows!”
    Love you, Anita
